I first picked up the electric bass guitar at age 13 and went on to study music, attaining my; National diploma in popular music, a HND in music (aquivilant grade 8 theory), Silver Arts award and a BA(Honors) degree from the Academy of Contemporary Music.
My professional work has taken me around the world and working with various acts and companies. Some of my professional work includes; four month European tour with Australian Folk/Rock band 'The Wishing Well', professional function band 'The Sound' working in the middle-east and Cruiseferrys around Europe, wedding and corporate band ' Happy Hour', Party band 'The Volume' Performing in Bahrain, Indonesia, Dubai, 'Uptown' band that was resident band at Jazz@Pizza Express in Abu Dhabi and I've worked Princess Cruises in the Royal Princess Orchestra.
Jon has been teaching privately since 2009, and has taught all ages and all levels. Jon teaches between Monday-Sunday.
Easy going and friendly teacher who aims to help each student achieve their person goal as a musician. In the lessons students can choose to be taught any of the following styles Jazz, R&B, soul, funk, rock, pop, Latin and much more. Lessons are based around; technique, sight reading, improvisation, session styles, theory and much more.
