Information About Joseph John - Luton teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Joseph John:
I am in my sixties, married and have two grown up daughters I enjoy meeting new people, and as well as playing and teaching the piano I work for a national charity doing IT.
I have been successfully teaching piano and theory of music for over 40 years, to children and adults of all ages and abilities (beginners to post Grade 8).
My initial priority is to help the student to be at ease - if you are not relaxed you will not be able to give of your best! So forming a good raport is a high priority - it is important to me that in every lesson the student feels empowered and inspired. I am flexible in approach, for example I have had students with various disabilities - blind, dyslexic, and thus have adapted my teaching to help students overcome specific challenges. I am also flexible in terms of whether or not students enter for exams, also the style(s) that is / are learnt. Some of my students have entered jazz exams.
