Personal Description:
born & educated in Liverpool; a self taught artist & musician, currently lives & works in Widnes, Cheshire with his wife Irene & their 2 sons… for many years I worked in social services with people with learning disabilities; part of the time, before moving into management, developing means of enabling them to actively participate in music making, instrumental improvisation, etc
I am lucky in that my artwork, predominantly music oriented, has been exhibited all over Cheshire, North Wales, the Midlands & the North West of England
and my interest in portraying musicians is paralleled by an enthusiasm for making music - a multi-instrumentalist & registered guitar tutor… Involved in various acoustic projects with violinist, vocalists and other guiitarists.
I was a member of highly regarded Special Crew, a Midlands based folk rock dance band and am a founder member of now defunct but respected Widnes based Celtic folk rock band GogMAgoG as well as equally popular power rock covers trio 'slaughterhouse'

I must say this was one of my better decisions, it is not like he is teaching me, more like a couple of guys having fun with guitars, but i can't believe how much i have learnt in 3 weeks, and look forward to every lesson.
