Information About Joel - Leeds teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Joel:
Alongside studying jazz performance at Leeds College of Music I have studied Classical Guitar to grade 8 level. I have over 8 years teaching experience and have been working as a professional Jazz, pop and rock guitarist from a young age. I am passionate about all styles of music.
I endorse JJ Guitars and have been to the NAMM show in Los Angeles 3 times demonstrating the instruments. I also have a busy schedule as a performer across the country.
I am currently a teacher for Yorkshire Music Education Service, Pudsey Grangefield School and the Light House school which gives me experience in teaching individual or group lessons and working with people that have learning difficulties.
I have a large number of students whom I teach privately on a 1-1 basis some of which I have been teaching for a number of years.
Tailoring my teaching methods to suit personal interests we will look at; technique, theory, harmony, melody, rhythm and most of all to enjoy music. With over 15 years of professional experience I understand how every students musical journey is different. Working to your ability and building a lesson and practice schedule that works around you.
