Personal Description:
Graduate of Performance Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Double Bass. Past teachers: Niel Cameron, Chris Sergeant, Rick Standley, Ana Cordova, Niek de Groot and Margerida Castro. Has played in RSNO, BBCSSO, Scottish Ballet and Rednote Ensemble as well as leading the bass section last year in Norway's Youth Orchestra.
Tutoring Experience:
Have given lessons privately while part of RCS and mentored in Junior National Youth Orchestra of Scotland.
Tutoring Approach:
Will aim to teach holistically and take into account the student's personal strengths and areas for improvement. Will specifically aim to improve aural skills and get the student to listen more critically so that they can ultimately teach themselves.
