Personal Description:
I have been playing the violin for 25 years and singing for 20, giving me a wealth of experience both on and off the stage. I have a Masters with Distinction from the Royal Northern College of Music in Voice and an Honours degree in Voice and Violin from the University of York. I also have ABRSM Grade 8 in both Voice and Violin at Distinction level. I am friendly and approachable and enjoy working with all ages, from complete beginners to advanced, whether it's for fun or preparing students to sit exams in school and for external exam boards.
Tutoring Experience:
I am an experienced singing and violin teacher based in South Manchester. I have taught students privately in both singing and violin for some years and am currently also undertaking a teaching qualification at the Royal Northern College of Music.
Tutoring Approach:
I have an adaptable teaching style which is heavily influenced by the Suzuki method. I teach online or can travel to my students. I occasionally also teach at my own home in South Manchester.
Prices are £30 for an hour, £15 for 30 minutes. Please get in touch if you'd like to organise a consultation lesson. I teach Violin up to Grade 6, Voice (all levels) and Music Theory up to Grade 5.
