Thanks for checking out my profile! My name is Jess and I am a degree trained musician and full time self-employed music teacher. I have almost 10 years of experience teaching many aspects of modern music. I am very patient, calm and friendly, and like to work with my pupils towards their musical goals. I perform live regularly as a vocalist in a local rock band, a play guitar in a blues duo and perform at weddings.
Whether you are a complete beginner or someone more experienced, I can help you with improve your skills. I also offer specialist coaching for shows and performances. I teach all ages and skill levels and can teach both 1-2-1 and in small groups. I have a degree in Modern Music Performance from BIMM (British and Irish institute of modern music - one of the top music universities in the UK). I also have qualifications in Music Performance and performing arts from Worcester College. I perform regularly as a vocalist in a band and also as a guitarist in a blues band. I have performed at the Upton Blues festival, Worcester beer and cider festival and many other bars and pubs. I also perform acoustically as a Wedding performer.

I have been teaching music for almost 10 years as a self employed music teacher and now teach full time from my home. I specialise in 1-2-1 tutoring of singing, acoustic and electric guitar and bass guitar for a wide range of genres including musical theatre, pop, rock, folk and blues. I also offer songwriting courses and can help with song writing and artist development.
My focus is ensuring that everyone is able to enjoy their music to the best of their ability, and to have as much fun and enjoyment out of it as they can. I encourage the students to choose the songs they want to learn and we can work on these together.
I also offer specialist coaching in preparation for performances or shows.
