Information About Jenny - Hebden Bridge teacher - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Jenny:
I am a local music teacher living in Midgley, Luddendenfoot, half way between Halifax & Hebden Bridge. I teach a range of instruments and specialise in folk fiddle.
I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors Degree in Music, and have played with the Greater Gwent & Forest of Dean orchestras including tours in the UK & Europe. I have also been in-house performer on violin, piano and singing for Caldicot Castle medieval banquets and for a variety of musicals, weddings and public events.
Outside of teaching I play and sing with 3 bands; one original folk rock, one country and one performing covers, as a solo violinist for a range of public events, and play for enjoyment at a number of local folk sessions.
I have been teaching professionally for just over 2 years and casually for 14 years.
I teach in a number of primary and secondary schools in addition to private tuition, and currently have pupils from ages 5 to 56. My pupils are at a wide variety of levels, with some working towards ABRSM examinations, and have a wide range of musical preferences.
I also have several pupils with special educational needs.
My main focus is on my pupils enjoying the music and in growing their confidence on the instrument. The format of the lessons is flexible based on the age, ability and learning style of the pupil, with music tailored to pupils' aims and music tastes.
Lessons are in the comfort of your own home.
