Personal Description:
My name is Jennifer and I am a Viola player from Glasgow living in Berkshire. I achieved my Bachelors at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and continued on to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where I completed my Masters under scholarship.
I have been playing for 19 years now, and enjoy helping others to achieve their musical goals.
My three favourite composers are Rachmaninoff, Vieuxtemps and Shostakovich.
Tutoring Experience:
I began teaching at aged 18, and now have 8 years of experience under my belt. I have taught absolute beginners all the way to people preparing for conservatoire auditions. I am confident teaching individuals, groups and whole classes.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to mould my teaching to each student's needs and pride myself in being able to think on my feet. I have some experience in the Kodaly method, and am currently looking for a course in the Suzuki method.
