Information About Jennifer - Newton Abbot teacher - (3 reviews)
This is how 3 referees rated Jennifer:
Jenny has performed from an early age and has a background of musical theatre, classical and choral singing and an ongoing obsession with the voice which informs her practice and enables her to find the best approach for her students.
Jenny began teaching singing after graduating with a BA (hons) in Musical Theatre in 2012. After some years working as a performer with a theatre company in South East Cornwall, Jenny realised that vocal coaching was much more fun and began studying the Estill Vocal Technique. She is currently a mature student at Marjon University studying for a Bsc in Speech and Language therapy and has recently moved to Chudleigh Knighton.
Jenny has many years of working with performers of all ages in very varied settings, such as youth clubs, schools and theatre and is a confident and experienced vocal coach. She has taught since 2012. Her pupils have an impressive roll call of achievements, with two recording contracts, multiple places on Music and Musical Theatre courses at drama schools and university and places with the National youth choir and Exeter choristers to name a few!
More recently, Jenny decided to begin studying again and is currently teaching whilst studying to become a Speech and Language Therapist.
Jenny's lessons are individually tailored to fit the pupil. All ages and abilities are welcome. All voice session are held in the studio as pupils find that the studio is a safe place to explore their voices in a private setting.
