Our approach is based on one basic tenet: your body is your instrument. If one’s body is not connected with your voice, this can lead to an undesirable vocal quality and long term damage.
Our approach encompasses research into the Alexander Technique and the natural use of one’s body. Body muscles are engaged in producing your vocal quality, and we look into establishing vocal stamina.
We will then work on other key aspects of musicianship: rhythm, tempo, melody and vocal harmonisation. We will focus our learning into the memorisation and performance of three pop songs that are of the group’s choosing.
