Personal Description:

My lessons are conveniently situated in Allington just off the M20 - Maidstone (free parking). If you're looking for someone to teach you how to play a woodwind instrument, you want to make sure they can do it. I am a working musician and have a good rapport with all of my students. I will teach you step by step from beginner to advanced and tailor the lessons to you. I have 15+ years experience in the music industry.

I offer woodwind tuition for all ages. Genres include rock, blues, pop, classical and jazz music.

It's never too late to start to learn a music instrument. Workshops are also available. You will be around like minded people and in an environment which will help your confidence grow.

Taking music lessons will be a positive step in reclaiming time for yourself, and nurturing the musician within you, without interrupting your everyday schedule. Its also a lot of fun!

Tutoring Experience:

James is a Kent based freelance musician and Educator. He was educated at Leeds College of Music where he graduated with a first class honors in Jazz. James is inspired by many genres of music and is highly regarded as a performer by both musicians and students alike.

James is a passionate teacher and has helped students of all ages and abilities reach their goals as musicians as well as giving educational workshops at Leeds College of Music. He strongly believes that music education has not yet reached its full potential and is constantly working to perfect this art. He has been taught by some of the top musicians and jazz educators in the US and UK. This experience and knowledge enables him to teach effectively and to get the best out of every lesson and pupil. In this area of his work he feels strongly about adopting a unique approach which equips the pupil to readily understand and apply the kind of techniques which will make them a competent performer and someone who really enjoys their playing.
