Personal Description:
Hello! My name is James, and I am a professional Actor and Multi-Instrumentalist Musician, specialising in Guitar and Mandolin. I studied Actor Musicianship at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, and have worked consistently in Theatre productions since graduating, as a Performer and Assistant Music Director.
Tutoring Experience:
Before my degree, I spent three years with a non-profit organisation, teaching Performing Arts workshops in numerous countries over 4 different continents - it was incredibly fun and challenging to figure out ways to teach whilst overcoming language barriers! I have also taught numerous guitar students of varying levels over the course of my professional career.
Tutoring Approach:
I am extremely passionate about music, as well as teaching, and will endeavour to respond to the specific needs of each student. Whether you are looking to work through Grades, gain skills and techniques in specific styles, or simply learn the basics, I'd be happy and determined to help you achieve your personal goals.
