Have previously taught in-house at Heron Music, Bristol and at Christ Church School in Bradford on Avon.

Tutoring Approach:

My passion as a teacher is to pass on knowledge. Playing music is of such value and it makes me very happy to help those who want to learn and benefit. Everything that I put into my teaching is a result of my own love of playing. Learning to play is about absorbing the language of music and my role is to make it possible for my students to do this. Every time I teach someone a piece or technique I adapt my approach and methods for each individual. Therefore when I instruct a student I'm not just trying the solve the present problem, I'm also thinking about their future and what will make the next step possible.
