Information About Izzy - High Wycombe teacher - (3 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Izzy:
I am a music therapist and work specifically with dementia care. My first degree was in Music and Psychology with an emphasis on music performance. I live in Loudwater and am happy to travel to pupils' houses when restrictions ease further. I am friendly and enthusiastic and enjoy the work that I do with pupils.
I have taught the piano and violin for 12 years and have entered pupils for ABRSM exams. I have taught pupils of all ages and abilities (from the age of 3 to adult, and from beginner to post-grade 8).
I believe that playing should ultimately be for enjoyment. I teach theory alongside practical aspects of learning music so pupils gain a whole experience of learning music. Rhythm and technique is also very important in learning any instrument and this is also integrated into lessons.
