Personal Description:
I’m an oboist currently finishing my Masters degree at the Royal Academy of Music. I graduated with a degree in Music from the University of Cambridge in 2020, where I was a choral scholar in Clare College Choir and sang in the university a cappella group. I teach oboe, singing, and music theory.
Tutoring Experience:
I’ve been teaching and tutoring for five years at all ages and all levels. Much of my experience is with academic tutoring in music theory, but recently I’ve been building my instrumental teaching practice as well.
Tutoring Approach:
I always approach the student as an individual - everyone comes to music lessons with different experiences, but most of all it’s important that the lessons are enjoyable! I’m happy to prepare students for exams, or simply to help them grow in confidence so they can sing or play for pleasure.
