Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored oboe, piano, recorder and music theory for over 5 years.
I have worked with the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain since 2017 as an orchestral mentor and social staff.
I have led multiple workshops with the Purcell School's Outreach Scheme, 'Impulse'
I have been on two tours to Norfolk with ‘Impulse’ to work in schools and give concerts to the public
I have taken rehearsals with the oboe section of the National Youth Orchestra and led outreach sessions with their outreach scheme 'Inspire'.

Tutoring Approach:

I find teaching very rewarding; I enjoy seeing progress in student’s playing, and also seeing that they are enjoying playing themselves. I believe that nurturing how they can practice on their own is essential in development, to find ways to make practice fun and useful. I currently teach students of all ages, and have resources to suit all ages and abilities!
