Information About Graham - Ruislip teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Graham:
Hi. my first passion is music, and making music. I play the clarinet professionally, and teaching is a way of addressing one's own playing issues and keeping one thinking all the time. When I'm not working, my wife and I are outdoors types, so enjoy walking and exploring new places, and travelling when possible.
I have taught clarinet since I was at University (1999-2004) and subsequent to that in several schools near Cardiff where I was a student at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. After leaving, I worked as a part-time lecturer there, leading aural training classes for the undergraduates, and teaching clarinet at the Junior College. I worked with the local Youth Orchestra, and continued playing professionally with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales among others. Then I moved to Uxbridge in 2008 when I joined the Central Band of the RAF, where I am still based, after moving to RAF Northolt in 2010. I have continued teaching in school and privately.
I have always taught for exams, particularly the ABRSM syllabus, but have taught numerous adults who want to play for their own enjoyment, but who also sometimes wish to learn for an exam to gain focus. I can be flexible for anyone's needs. I would travel to your home, as mine isn't conducive for teaching in, and travel within 15 mins of West Ruislip. My job is quite flexible, so I wouldn't be able to commit to a lesson on the same day each week, as life happens, but nearly always we can get a lesson in each week somewhere, and especially adults it can sometimes be during the day, depending on working hours
