Originally from Leicester, George is a London-based musician who plays with the orchestra Sinfonia Smith Square. A recent graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music with distinction, George is known as a keen educator and teacher, and comes from a diverse musical background, having studied piano and sung extensively in choirs. He enjoys a varied musical diary of chamber, orchestral, and solo engagements.
George has played with ensembles across the UK and has performed with several leading professional orchestras, including Opera North, the Hallé Orchestra, and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. His growing freelance career reflects both his versatility and artistic commitment, with a repertoire that spans from core clarinet concertos to new commissions and chamber works. Based in West London, George continues to establish himself as a compelling and communicative performer on the concert platform and a keen educator and presenter of classical music.
