Information About Sarah - Malvern teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Sarah:
A singing teacher with qualified teacher status, I am able to adapt to the needs of individual learners. I currently work in music for health and the community. This means that I lead choral and singing groups for people of all ages including children, elderly people and those with specific health needs, as well as taking individual private students. I believe that music is beneficial to health and happiness and am committed to sharing the joy of singing. All styles of music are embraced. My own musical interests include solo singing, a classical chamber choir, and singing with a jazz quartet.
For many years I taught in primary schools, taking responsibility for
music curriculum teaching, running school choirs and teaching piano. More recently I have been running a preschool music group, teaching group and private singing lessons for the London Studio Centre Associate Programme, singing for Alzheimer’s Society groups, and taking private lessons at home or in students homes.
Music should be fun. My lessons are individualised to suit the individual, whatever their level of experience or confidence. Warm up exercises will be studied to protect the voice and help people to find their best sound. All musical styles are embraced. Music exams can be entered should this be appropriate to the individual.
