I want to help people create a close relationship with music. I feel like I have a lot to share after my learning experience.
During my 7 years at Music School, I was taught to play the keyboard, with a lack of passion and understanding. Later, I made a break and after a while my perception of music shifted - I rediscovered piano as something very interesting and mysterious. With the help of my amazing secondary school music teacher, I then started to Play Music - feel it, make it meaningful and different every time… After catching a glimpse of the secret of music, it has been an enjoyable journey ever since. I want to help people have this love for music.
Interestingly, I have taught my first piano teacher to approach music with curiosity and openness.
I also got teaching experience by being a coach of Glasgow University's Men's Basketball Team.
Now I have been teaching piano for almost two years. My tutees vary in age from 8 to 60, and I have approached everyone with a fresh look, adapting to the needs and interests, to make learning exciting and rewarding.
My main goal is to help you find your own relationship with music. I believe that if you want to Play Music, add effort and the learning process will follow. I will explain the technical aspects, but most importantly I will encourage to explore what is inside the sounds that are called music. Then, we will be able to play with love and passion. Play, play, play!
