Personal Description:
Eranan is a skilled music tutor specializing in composition, production as well as violin and piano. He also squirms at the reflections of referring to himself in the third person throughout this bio.
We have a great passion for music and its importance in all cultures, our aim is to share this in a manner that is inclusive to all. We aim for a supportive and encouraging learning environment, where you can grow and develop your musical abilities. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced.
Tutoring Experience:
Having studied in Cardiff University before finally graduating from Leeds College of Music (Now Leeds Conservatoire), he has a firm knowledge of music theory, history, and technique.
This enables him to provide comprehensive and engaging lessons that aims to draw out your confidence in developing your unique voice as a creative.
He is proudly Neurodivergent and as such can understand the needs for flexibility and understanding in the teaching approach.
Tutoring Approach:
I offer lessons in composition and production for those interested in exploring the process of making music. I'll guide you in developing your skills in the cultivation of original music.
You can choose to learn in the traditional medium of notation and scoring or we can focus on arranging and producing within a DAW. Or even both, it's up to you.
We'll have a blast learning various elements such as
- harmony
- melody
- structures
- arranging
- tracking
- editing
- mixing
And many more.
In addition to composition I offer violin and piano tuition. In this area we'll mainly focus on learning and interpreting musical scores as well as performance expressions.
In your best interests
As my current medium is only remote tuition I have to forewarn that certain areas of instrumental lessons such as proper technique, tone, and expression can be harder to address.
For this reason I will recommend that you move to face to face lessons unless you are satisfied with continuing to learn with me remotely.
This has little affect on learning composition and production however, so we can crack on without worries there.
