Information About Eleanor - Peckham teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Eleanor:
I’m an Australian soprano and graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where I completed her Bachelor of Music Studies and Graduate Diploma in Voice (Pedagogy). Now based in London (I came for the weather), I work as a freelance singer, voice teacher and choral director.
I’m a recipient of the Australia Council for the Arts Artstart Grant, and have performed in opera, cabaret and theatre both in Australia and overseas, including Art Gallery of New South Wales (Australia), Cadogan Hall, Royal Albert Hall (both UK), Manhattan School of Music (USA) and the Operestate Festival in Bassano del Grappa (Italy).
I currently teach at several of London's leading music schools and previously run the Sing for Freedom choir (made up of refugees and survivors of torture).
I'm a classically trained opera singer with a wealth of teaching experience. Whether you are a complete beginner or have been singing for years, I can help you find your voice, increase your confidence, and improve your vocal technique, breathing and posture.
My classes are fun, informal and really supportive. By starting with strong technical foundations, students have a great basis for developing their confidence, and for learning how to use their voice effectively.
All ages and abilities welcome!
I teach from my home in Peckham or can travel to you, depending on your location.
Lessons available online or face to face (when possible).
