Personal Description:

I'm a pianist and piano teacher based in Derby.

I grow up in a family of musician as my mother made an international career as an opera singer.

I grow up in that environment and always has been deeply passionate about music and how to share it.

Tutoring Experience:

I have more than 20 years of experience as a piano tutor but also as a masterclass and workshop teacher.

I worked with a variety of profile. From very young children to retired person in a house care.

I also worked with autistic children and teenager in a special need school for 4 years.
I worked as a piano and music theory teacher in different academy and schools.

Tutoring Approach:

I tailor my lesson around my students and look for the fun at the first priority. Learning with fun is a lot more efficient and productive than learning with pain and suffer.
For a one to one tuition, I have the chance to be able to build a relationship with my students, so I look for the personality of everyone and how I can manage to help to express it with music.

It is a rewarding experience because on the top of working on the musical aspect, I can also see a human development.
For example a shy person will start to emerge and being more and more confident.

A good human contact is as important as the skill and the knowledge!

I'm from Belgium and i'm able to teach in French and English.

Possibility to have 30 minutes (£15) or 1 hour of lesson (£30).
