Personal Description:

I am a BMus Music performance graduate in classical piano from the London College of Music. I am an experienced teacher and believe that every person has musical potential. I feel it is my job to nurture this potential and bring out my students’ inner musician. I am a professional piano performer, and have played for the London College of Music, and St. Brides Church to name a few.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught a wide selection of students with skills ranging from beginner to advance, ABRSM grades 1-8, and ABRSM performance diplomas. Some wished to learn for leisure, others for examination. Their ages have ranged from child to university graduates. Many of my students have had no previous musical background or knowledge, but I can develop a person’s musical technique no matter what stage or grade they have acquired.

Tutoring Approach:

Through experience, I have learnt to respect each student’s individuality and unique way of learning. I adapt my teaching style to accommodate their needs. For example, some students respond better with a slow pace, some respond to learning through fun, and others require more discipline. No matter my approach, I will always aim to challenge my students so that they progress.
