Personal Description:

I am a professional singer and singing teacher based in Stotfold, Bedfordshire. I am an enthusiastic, positive and inspiring teacher and have always loved singing and music. I studied vocal performance at the Royal Northern College of Music and I work as a freelance opera singer, having performed with companies such as Opera North, Opera Holland Park and Waterperry Opera Festival.

Tutoring Experience:

I can teach many genres from classical and musical theatre to pop and rock and I have taught young children, teenagers, adults and burgeoning professionals. I have led singing workshops for the Luton Music Service with upwards of 300 primary school children, led rehearsals with the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, worked as the vocal specialist at Stagecoach Luton, taught choristers at Croydon Minster and taught singing to a high level for students auditioning for conservatoires and drama schools.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to teaching is to fully ground the voice into one's own body, focussing on core sounds, connection to the breath and the primary physical nature of sound production to produce the singing voice. I offer a supportive and safe environment to achieve vocal and personal development, always with the students' best interests in mind.

I am experienced teaching via Zoom and I am able to offer online lessons.
