David is a young enthusiastic teacher and performer. He served in HM Royal Marines Band Service for 6 years (2008 -2014) where he performed extensively through out the UK and abroad, including performances at the Royal Albert Hall. In his career outside the Royal Marines Band, he has performed numerous times as a solo recitalist in the Broadstone Music Series and in Orchestras including Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Havant Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. He has been studying himself recently at the Royal College of music under the renowned professors of oboe - Gareth Hulse, David Theodore and Christine Pendrill.
David has had experience of teaching people privately from a wide spectrum of ages and abilities and is happy to teach people from beginner standard to more advanced players.
He is committed to creating a fun and motivated learning atmosphere where students can improve as much as they want. He has experience in preparing students for examinations if it comes into the students personal goals but believes learning music should be fun.
