Personal Description:

Friendly piano, keyboard and music theory tutoring. Choose home tuition, my studio or online. Classical, pop, jazz… All styles taught.

Tutoring Experience:

As well as having over 25 years of piano and keyboard tuition, I have also performed in restaurants, hotels, summer season shows etc.

My experience delivering piano and keyboard lessons includes:
• Keyboard tutor (small groups) at Technics Music Academy (several years).
• Music tutor for Lancashire Music Service (almost 10 years). Included whole class curriculum support and instrumental ensemble tuition. Small group / one-to-one piano and keyboard tuition.
• Private piano and keyboard teacher - all ages and abilities.

Tutoring Approach:

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player looking to improve your skills and technique, I can offer a diverse range of enjoyable tuition to suit your musical background, at your own pace.

There are numerous reasons why individuals start music lessons:
• Working towards ABRSM, GCSE, A-level or degree qualifications.
• Learn to play a favourite song.
• Playing in a group.

Whatever the reason, the lesson will be tailored to meet your individual goals.

Resources:
• iPad Apps to develop musical skills.
• YouTube video tutorials designed to consolidate the lesson material.

Online Tuition:
Some pupils prefer to have lessons over Skype/FaceTime. This can have several benefits:
• Distance between pupil / tutor is not an issue.
• Often more flexibility if lesson times need to be rearranged.
• Pupils can still benefit from using their own instrument without home visits.
