Personal Description:
I have worked in music and video for the past ten years after studying music and music technology at Swansea. Before that I have been a keyboard player and music producer since the age of 8. I enjoy composing film music and trance/EDM and love working with solo artists to work on music together from record, to production and engineering.
Tutoring Experience:
I am a PTTLS qualified tutor with over 10 years experience in tutoring people of all ages and abilities. I have tutored for Swansea council's digital inclusion projects, the arts council lead creative school schemes and a multi-media producer and tutor at music art digital Swansea.
I also tutor and work in video, web, vfx and computer networks.
Tutoring Approach:
I prefer to take a casual approach to teaching utilizing multiple methods ensuring learners are learning the way they learn best. Fun is first priority. It has to be an enjoyable experience that embeds the required skills to deliver commercial standard results.
DIGITAL PRODUCTION
Learn the tools to create all sorts of music genres including music for game and film using the best virtual orchestras, choirs, synths and drum systems in the industry.
Learn to produce, record and mix in Cubase, Logic, Studio One, Live or FL Studio.
KEYBOARDS
Learn the basics of playing keyboards and piano and progress into synth programming, patch management and digital sampling. Learn how to take sound realism to the next level with the best sampled instruments in the industry and learn how to use effects to give the sounds another dimension.
