In 2006 I wrote and arranged the music for an original musical pantomime written by my friend John Goss called 'Snegurochka Snowgirl' which we performed at the **Contact Detail Removed** Theatre in Birmingham in December 2006.
Since then we have collaborated on two musicals 'Buskers' and 'Boulton' which have, as yet, not been performed, and miscellaneous songs, hymns and carols.
From 1993-95 I taught piano at Joseph Chamberlain 6th Form College for 3 hours a week. I also had a few private pupils. In 1995 I was a visiting music lecturer at the Unversity of Birmingham (giving 10 music seminars to drama undergraduates).
It is an honour and pleasure to teach someone to make music. I think the best approach to learning the piano is to refrain from looking at hands, as in learning to type. I think music is a language, and like any language there is the written and spoken.
