Information About Daniel - Lambeth teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Daniel:
I'm a friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor who sees the student -/- teacher relationship as the cornerstone of any learning environment, especially within a creative context.
I currently work at a leading film post production company, doing freelance work during my time off.
Having worked in various recording studios, in both commercial and artistically driven environments, building upon a wealth of experience which I am able to communicate at all levels of the learning spectrum.
Having completed exotic projects which have involved international sound recording:
Sounding out India
This project was an exploration into the soundscape that India harnesses. Searching for sounds which are unique to those locations and cultures which may contain remnants and tracers of the societies history. Essentially a sound walk on a continental scale, which aimed to search for the most interesting sonic artifacts and learning of their origins as I traveled from the most southerly point of India to its northern capital Delhi.
The resultant album went on to receive internet acclaim.
"Throughout the album, expertly uses soundbytes including natural dripping water, real crowds and chopped up vocals from slum inhabitants, and excellent beats to build the track, and all the effort really pays off. This is real art based on real life, and it will take you to a whole new space… You will be hard-pushed to find a more soothing, and aurally evocative album through the rest of 2016. This lad has some serious talent, and we’re proud to be showcasing it here on Electronic North." - Dom , Electronic North
"’s music goes beyond memorable keepsakes, expressing emotions and bringing documented events to the present via his meticulous samples and deft studio work." - Mathew voracek, Impose Magazine
The field recordings have also been showcased at the 2016 Moogfest as part of the Moog Global synthesiser installation.
