I began my piano studies at the age of eight. At the age of fourteen I was offered a full scholarship at the Yehudi Menuhin School where I spent four years before commencing my degree at the Royal College of Music as an ABRSM Scholar. I have also participated in music courses at the "Musikakademie Liechtenstein" and have completed the "Akoesticum Talent Programme". I have performed in venues and festivals including the Wigmore Hall, St. James's Church Piccadilly, Music Auditorium Reina Sofia Madrid, Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Wimbledon Music Festival.
My initial experience as a tutor was at the Yehudi Menuhin School were I was mentoring younger pupils during my senior years. I have been teaching actively since 2019 and started teaching at the City London Centre of Music in July of 2020. My students have completed ABRSM Grade I and VI exams. I have also provided accompaniment for ABRSM Grades I, II, V, VI, VII and the ABRSM Diploma.
The approach depends entirely on the pupil and the stage they are currently at. I do not have a fixed approach and always strive to find the most beneficial one for each student. I do cover essential concepts of harmony and music theory in the instrumental lessons. A solid foundation in these areas, I believe, is essential and helps the students with their progress in the long-term. It is also equally important that the pupil allocates some time for practice individual practice.
