Used audio and visual materials to introduce pupils to understanding the basic aesthetics of the baroque, classical and romantic music styles; designed interactive questionnaires and learning outcomes to deliver knowledge to pupils.
I wish to help each pupil to find ways about playing the clarinet and recorder which suit them best; each pupil is unique with different physical build and mind set, so there is no one correct method to restrict pupils. My teaching approach differs according to the level pupils are at, but the general principal is to listen to pupils' playing and identifying areas they could be helped with, i.e. breathing, intonation, rhythm, understanding of music (can also be a specific piece). Most importantly, I want all my pupils to enjoy their lessons like they are playing a game and to improve naturally with as little pressure as possible.
