Personal Description:
My name is Cindy and I have been playing classical guitar since I was 8 years old. I am currently a Secondary School maths teacher.
I have won many awards in the past, this includes 1st prize in North London Music Festival competition etc.
I am a caring nature and believe students learn best through enjoyments in their lessons.
Tutoring Experience:
I first taught back when I was 16, where my brother achieved Merit in his grade 4 exam.
Since then I have been teaching on the side. In the past year, I have taught numerous students (age 6 - 50) with 100% pass rate. Average achieves high Merits and Distinctions.
Tutoring Approach:
I truly believe everyone is able to play Classical guitar. I have seen students of all ages with no musical background passing with high marks.
Although most of my students are doing their exams through ABRSM, I have some going through Trinity.
For both, I ensure all students are well equipped, this means, 3 pieces, scales, sight reading and aural tests are practised in class in preparation for their exam.
