Private teaching practice in North West London since 1996. Lecturer at the London College of Music.
A member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians, a professional body which aims at regulating and maintaining high standards in private music tuition. Classes of one-to-one individual tuition in piano, organ and music theory are held in a well equipped private studio, close to all major bus and tube links.
Pupils of all ages and abilities are accepted, and in most cases are prepared for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music examinations (Grades 1 to 8).
The emphasis is on providing a solid foundation in the rudiments of music, and in the development of a piano technique, upon which all future progress depends. This approach has resulted in a very high pass rate in examinations.
All pupils are encouraged to take part in an annual summer concert, which provides an opportunity for pupils to perform in front of an appreciative audience of friends and family.
Tuition is provided on a termly basis.
