Personal Description:

Experienced, high-achieving, passionate and personable tutor.

I teach from my gorgeous home in a picturesque conservation area located in Cheapside which is a few minutes drive from Ascot. My home is a detached house in a quiet neighbourhood (with free parking) which is the ideal retreat to focus on music making.

I have a Masters Degree and LRAM Teaching Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music and a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. I also have a full and clean DBS check made in January 2017.

Outside of teaching I am an active conductor and composer that I pursue whilst providing a consistent education for my students. I work across Europe with professional orchestras including concerts, recordings and radio & TV broadcasts with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Vienna Tonkuenstler Orchestra, Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra and many others. More information about me as a conductor and composer can be found on: **Web Address Removed**

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored hundreds of students from beginners to degree level and from the very young to mature for over fourteen years, including at Blackheath Conservatoire and Eltham College where I was part of a strong educative team that was very successful in gaining students entry to Oxford and Cambridge universities.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to music education is bespoke and high-quality; I am fun and approachable in personality, but work hard with my students and expect them to achieve their full potential. A strong theoretical knowledge is the foundation of my pedagogy, upon which technical aspects and artistry is built. I also work with music technology and am particularly fluent with Sibelius as well as Logic.
