Personal Description:

I believe anyone can learn piano and create meaningful music. I am an experienced piano teacher with a BMus(Hons) from the Royal Academy of Music & The Juilliard School, with specialist skills in professional performance coaching. I help you build confidence in performance right from day one.

Tutoring Experience:

With 16 years’ experience teaching both piano and double bass across a wide range of settings, I have taught at the Royal Academy of Music Junior School, Bromley Youth Music Trust, Ealing Junior Music School and Dunraven School, as well as having my own thriving private teaching studio in SE London and online.

As a specialist performance coach, I have presented workshops and masterclasses abroad at the Piano Teachers Congress of New York and the World Piano Conference in Serbia, as well as running and facilitating my own piano performance retreat at Finchcocks in Kent, UK.

Tutoring Approach:

LEARN TO PLAY INSPIRING MUSIC
Whatever your level, I will teach you music which is enjoyable and inspiring to you. You don’t need to learn nursery rhymes, method books and isolated notes and scales that are not relevant or meaningful to you.

BUILD SOLID PERFORMANCE SKILLS
As a performance coach and experienced hypnotherapist, I have helped many musicians with performance anxiety. In fact, it is my speciality. I work with you to ensure you are always prepared and confident to perform in any situation, whether an exam, competition, audition or recital.
