Hi everyone! I'm Chris, a Manchester-based violinist currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music. I've worked with a wide range of orchestras and ensembles, including the BBC Philharmonic, Manchester Concert Orchestra and the Lindow Ensemble, performing with many world renowned musicians such as famous violinist Ray Chen, conductor Sir Mark Elder & pianist Sir Stephen Hough.
Later on in 2023, I'll be continuing my studies as a Masters student the RNCM, learning violin with Yuri Torchinsky, Leader of the BBC Philharmonic.
I've previously taught ABRSM Grades 1-8 to a wide range of ages and abilities, and have most recently been invited as a guest tutor at the Junior RNCM.
From having led workshops with local school orchestras, to performing piano for the elderly, my aim is to inspire the next generation of musicians with an infectious enthusiasm for classical music.
I offer bespoke lessons, catered for any age or ability. In our free consultation lesson, we'll talk about your goals & ambitions for learning violin, whether it's picking up an old hobby, or if you want to push yourself to the best standard you can achieve - it's all down to you!
Music is all about creating meaningful experiences, so I hope to encourage you to play with passion!
'To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable.' - Ludwig van Beethoven
