Charlie-Jade began her training from a young age in both classical music and theatre developing a strong love for both. At sixteen she successfully auditioned for the Hampshire Specialist Music Course and trained for two years as one of ten promising musicians, specialising in classical singing and at eighteen moved to London to continue her training at university. Whilst there she played Gianetta in Gilbert & Sullivan's The Gondoliers and Michaela in Bizet's Carmen. Following her undergraduate degree, Charlie-Jade achieved a place to study a Postgraduate Diploma in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music.

As well as a working performer, Charlie-Jade is an experienced singing teacher, vocal coach and workshop facilitator, a job she absolutely loves. "There's something so special and rewarding about seeing a student's reaction when they do something that they said they couldn't do when they walked through the door, or first sang a piece through." She has worked extensively preparing many children and adults for drama school and West End auditions. Charlie-Jade teaches singing and musical theatre performance at Pure Rhythm School of Performing Arts where she Musically Directed their 2016 production of 'Alice In Wonderland' and 2017 production of 'Honk!'. Students have joined the West End casts of Thriller Live, Matilda and Memphis, have starred in nationwide TV commercials and have achieved places at the London School of Musical Theatre & Sylvia Young Theatre School.
"I had a very last minute audition & Charlie-Jade had absolutely no problem fitting me in at the last second. She understood how important this role was to me! She was SO helpful & thorough ✨and she took the time to go through every piece with me bit by bit. I never once felt rushed, despite only booking an hour. She had practiced my pieces ahead of time so when I arrived she knew exactly what we needed to work on. She is a fantastic teacher who taught me so much about my voice from such a short session. She is 100% my go to teacher for important audition prep. A fantastic choice ⭐️ "
