Information About Caroline - Kenley teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Caroline:
I have been teaching the Bassoon in various capacities for the past 15 years. It is a marvellous instrument so I am always keen to take on new students and speak to anyone who is keen to find out more.
I currently play principal Bassoon with the Croydon Symphony Orchestra but have played professionally with various orchestras in the past including the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Manchester Camerata and the Southbank Sinfonia. I also used to be a member of the London Myriad Ensemble.
I have taught the Bassoon in many different settings over the years. My experience ranges from one to one private bassoon tuition through to group bassoon tuition at Hackney Music Trust. I have experience teaching the smaller Tenoroon (from age 6 upwards) through to the full size bassoon.
My main approach is to keep music making fun! I am very sensitive to how students are coping whether learning the bassoon from scratch or a few years down the line.
