Personal Description:

I'm an experienced, conservatoire trained musician with a BMus(Hons) degree in Violin Performance from Birmingham Conservatoire and a Masters degree in Musicology. I also reached grade 8 on flute, clarinet, saxophone and piano. I have a full, enhanced DBS check certificate.

Tutoring Experience:

I'm a friendly, passionate and encouraging teacher with 10 years of teaching experience from complete beginners to advanced players and those at the beginning of their professional careers. I've also worked with the violin students at Birmingham Conservatoire's Junior Department and for a music group that works with children and young adults with special needs.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm deeply passionate about music and I love passing on this passion and excitement to my students. I ensure that my students are inspired and excited about their instrument and cater to their individual needs and tastes - instilling a true enjoyment and passion in my students ensures that practice is never a chore!

I teach from my comfortable and well-equipped music room in my home, which has seating for parents who wish to stay during their child's lesson.

Adult players and beginners are very welcome, it is never too late to learn!
