Information About Ben - Cardiff teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Ben:
Ben has been making music from as early as he can remember, with over 15 years experience playing trombone from classical to commercial with everything in between. He has been lucky enough to play music in extensive tours around the world including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, across Europe and the UK playing in venues from small 100 capacity clubs up to festivals in front of 5,000 plus. These include performances in front of The Queen, Prince Charles, The Duke of Edinburgh and performances at well-known music venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, Koko and Glastonbury Festival, to name a few. He has also performed on national television such as the BBC and ITV and in Disneyland Paris and has had some of his music played on national and international radio including BBC Radio 1. He can currently be seen on stage with Hip Hop group Lazy Habits, The Parallax Orchestra and on a new project with up and coming electronic songwriter/producer Speelburg.
Ben has been teaching privately since 2007 in Wales and in London. He has also gained experience holding music workshops across Taiwan for around 50 children and has helped run musical groups from small ensembles to larger orchestras.
Ben likes to teach in a friendly and informal style. He can adapt his methods to suite the age and type of person he is teaching making him a very flexible teacher. He can teach through the grades or alternatively take a more relaxed approach teaching students songs they really want to learn.
