Personal Description:

Young teacher and graduate from leading conservatoire, Leeds College of Music. I achieved Grade 8 in Piano performance and Grade 5 theory within 2 years of studying. I understand the passion it takes to succeed in Music and have developed a love for my craft. I want to share what I have learned with anyone who has an interest in Music, and hope they will find the passion for it that I have.

I have performed in various locations around Yorkshire as a Soloist, accompanist and in ensembles. Notable mentions include Duo Reed & Ivory, The New Music Collective ensemble and the LCoM Camerata who have toured with me internationally.

I am a regular ABRSM accompanist, coaching students of all ages during their exam preparation. I have also worked on a number of theatre productions including Jekyll and Hyde, and Rent.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching for several years, working in schools and privately teaching both **Contact Detail Removed** and one on one lessons to students as young as 5, all the way through to students in their 80's.
I am currently a part of ,MJP, a newly formed teaching **Contact Detail Removed** for teachers in Leeds. Furthermore I am a Piano tutor for Roundhay Music service, My Music Mentor, the Leeds Music Academy and YMES, also based in West Yorkshire.

Tutoring Approach:

When tutoring, I believe in developing a strong relationship with my students and catering for their needs personally. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for the bond with my tutors. I believe a student can only thrive when he/she has a certain level of respect and understanding with their teacher. I encourage all my students to think for themselves, and take an active role in overcoming challenges. My role as teacher is to give guidance and provide the resources necessary for one to achieve. There must be a certain level of commitment from the student, which I will actively encourage.
