I am a professional Soprano and Music Teacher based in London. I hold a First Class Music degree from the University of York, and am currently studying for a Masters at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a scholarship. I was a recipient of a VOCES8 Choral Scholarship in 2016, and the Stile Antico Foundation Bursary in 2015.
I divide my time between performance and private teaching. As a Soprano, I perform regularly at weddings, events, recitals and concerts, as both a soloist and ensemble singer.

Since graduating in 2015, I have been privately teaching students of all ages and abilities across the East Midlands, as well as one day a week at an independent school.
I perform professionally myself, and will be studying a Masters (part-time) at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama from September 2017. I believe performing professionally and still studying myself enables me to teach with flexibility, and I am constantly finding fresh ways to help students achieve their potential. I believe in a holistic approach, which goes beyond technical exercises, and looks at the student as a musician - as a whole.
The majority of my teaching is in singing, but I also teach the trumpet, and music theory. I have successfully prepared students for ABRSM exams, from grades 1-8 with a 100% success rate, and most achieving a merit or higher. I have also prepared students for a number of competitions, festivals and concerts, covering a range of different genres.
