Information About Anne - Tayport teacher
This is how 3 referees rated Anne:
I have played guitar for many years, starting out with folk music, then learning to play classical. I enjoy all kinds of music and enjoy helping others learn and take part in group playing where possible.
I have taught of many years in primary schools, evening classes and 1-1 and small group private lessons. My students have achieved Grade 1 - 8 of the ABRSM, and I have also helped them with Standard grade and Higher pieces.
i would like to teach older adults as well and I am keen to lead a group who would like to play together. i have recently taken early retirement from work in a college.
I like to teach classical guitar and structure my lessons with playing, theory, and listening as these are all important in learning to play an instrument. I can help you work towards exams, or just to play for your own enjoyment, but always strive towards good quality playing. When teaching young children I include singing as well, and parents are welcome to stay with the pupil for the first few lessons.
