Personal Description:

Anna originally trained in classical singing, before graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2018 with a Masters in Musical Theatre. She then worked as a freelance actor-musician, before specialising and re-training to become a vocal coach. Having completed the Estill Level 1&2 course, she is currently studying to obtain her EFP qualification as well as a Masters in Voice Studies at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Prior to her drama school training, Anna obtained first class music degree from the University of Southampton, and attended the Junior Trinity College of Music in London where she studied classical singing with Sarah Vivian. She has Grade 8 qualifications in Piano, Viola and Singing.

Tutoring Experience:

Anna has been privately teaching singing, piano and musical theory to individual students in the UK and Canada for several years, as well as regularly working as a cover teacher at stage schools such as Stagecoach and Perform. She works with students across a range of ages and ability, and loves to see the transformation in her pupils.

Tutoring Approach:

Anna believes in providing an enjoyable, interactive and practical approach for her students, and one which is catered to the individual and their goals. She carefully ascertains exactly what the student wants to gain from the lessons and plans her teaching accordingly. She welcomes pupils of all abilities, whether their goal is to achieve their Grade 8, get into drama school or simply to learn for fun.
