Information About Anna - Bedford teacher - (3 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Anna:
I graduated from the University of Lancaster with a degree in music in 1993 where I specialised in performance. Prior to this I was a Junior Exhibitioner at Trinity College, London where I studied flute, piano and recorder.
I am also a qualified Music Therapist with over fifteen years experience in this profession.
I have over twenty years experience of teaching flute and piano to adults and children of all ages and abilities. I have successfully supported students in taking ABRSM exams from Preparatory Test through to Grade 8 and also in entering local competitions for those who wish to.
I believe that enjoyment is the most important aspect of learning an instrument and aim to make learning fun especially for beginners. I try to assist pupils in learning styles of music for which they show a preference and always incorporate theory into lessons. I am also happy to teach theory without an instrument, for example, to pupils preparing for a theory exam.
