Personal Description:

I started playing the Piano and Cello at the age of four. As my career developed I won a scholarship the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music a**Contact Detail Removed**ven. At eighteen I won an exhibition to the Royal College of Music to further my studies to a professional level. I was exceptionally lucky to have been taught the Cello by the late Christopher Bunting and Piano by the late Peter Wallfisch whose musical knowledge and techniques were inspirational.
After graduating, I began a successful professional career and have performed all over the world in various orchestras and ensembles.
After spending fourteen years in Malta playing with the Malta Philharmonic, I came back to the UK to bring up my children and started teaching and coaching for performance.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over twenty years of teaching experience for both Cello and Piano. Some of my students have gone on to study at the best music colleges in the UK and a few of my students have moved on to a professional career. Many of my adult students learn just for fun and a lot of my younger students are climbing the ladder of exams.

Tutoring Approach:

I offer expert and friendly tuition moulded to each individual student so you can learn at your own pace whether you wish to learn for fun or take exams.
