Personal Description:

I am an experienced flautist, originally from Oxford and now at university in Bristol with a Vice Chancellor's Music Scholarship. I have an ABRSM Diploma and Grade 8 flute, both passed with high distinction grades. I have been taught by Royal Academy of Music Professor Kate Hill, OSSO's Caroline Hobbs-Smith and Colin Touchin, who have inspired me greatly and given me a distinctive teaching technique.

Tutoring Experience:

- Some flute teaching
- I taught groups of 10/11 year olds maths for a year
- I mentored 2 boys on study skills for a year

Tutoring Approach:

I adore the flute and want to pass on my love of the instrument to all my pupils. My lessons concentrate on musicality, technique, sound quality and overall musicianship. I can teach pupils how to read music and I encourage musicianship and understanding (up to a Grade 6 theory level) through exercises and recommended listening! I will provide some exercises and sheet music for beginners. I look forward to getting in contact with you :)
