Information About Amelia - Worcester teacher
This is how 3 referees rated Amelia:
Hello! I am a recent music graduate from Cardiff university with 17 years experience playing the violin and a specialism in composition. I passed my grade 8 in 2012 and have been involved in many bands and orchestras over the years with violin as well as clarinet, my second instrument.
I now teach beginner - intermediate violin lessons to people of all ages from my home in Worcester and also travel to my students houses to deliver lessons.
I have experience teaching beginners from ages 12 up to 56! You are never too young or too old to start learning this beautiful instrument!
My approach to teaching the violin is very student led. I feel it is important for my students to enjoy what they are learning and to have the main say in what they want to learn, whether that be learning pieces and scales in preparation for their music grade exams or casual fun pieces and duets with myself just for the enjoyment of playing.
To be able to play and share music is a beautiful thing, and I am passionate about helping others learn how to play this wonderful instrument and encouraging them to enjoy their playing,
Anyone can learn the violin, and it really is an extremely rewarding process for the player as well as for those supporting them. Music has been proven to be beneficial to a child's development and to help with concentration and patience, so I would highly recommend music lessons as a hobby for your child.
